Welcome to the Myway Smooth Fox Terrier Web site. Within these pages you will learn a little about our dogs and a lot about our favourite breed: the Smooth Fox Terrier. The Myway prefix was founded in 1973 and the first breed to carry the Myway name was American Cocker Spaniels. We produced some of the first chocolate and chocolate and white champions in Canada.

As much as we loved our cockers , we were ready to have another breed. In 1989 we were introduced to our first litter of Smooth Fox Terriers. It was love at first sight!

A whole new world was opened up that weekend. Barbara and Tad Duncan of Flintcrest fame sent us home with one of their daughter's smooths. She is the best thing to enter our home and heart. Terriers have a longer life span and less health problems than the spaniels and within 5 years we no longer bred or showed cockers.

Because of our love for dogs, we own, breed, and show on a limited basis. Our dogs are well socialized as puppies and we like to put our adult dogs through the temperament test.
