I fell in love with the German Shepherd when we bought one for a pet for our young family.  “Candy” was the best babysitter I ever had, bringing my wandering 3 year old back day after day.  My son would climb the fence no matter how high we made it and she would go over it after him.

Years later we moved to a quarter section of land west of Edmonton and I bought an old kennel building from Lois Fischer, which was my introduction to breeding and raising Shepherd puppies.  Later we moved to 22 acres in St. Albert, built a house and kennel and continued to learn more about the German Shepherd breed.
