My foundation bitch was Von Nassau’s Ro-Char Elke who was a Hammerfest daughter and Hawkeye granddaughter. The maternal side of her pedigree was Von Nassau’s Too-Me out of Harrigan and Yoncalla’s Mike. She became the highest ROM in Canada and still holds this record. Elke was not a show dog but she had the pedigree and temperament for a wonderful brood bitch. Her lines worked best with those of Mazarati,to whom I bred several times. |
|
One
of her most notable offspring was Renmac’s Mirage shown here winning one
of her many Best in Show awards. Other
Mazarati – Elke champions included Fiero, Jaguar, and Jordie.
Audie, another of the Mazarati – Elke children was Winners Bitch
and won a Select at the Canadian National |
|
Ch. Renmac’s Happy Britte was another of Elke’s many champions, and the dam of my A/C Select Ch. Renmac’s Romancing the Stone, by Ch. Covy-Tuckerhill’s Romantico. |
|
In turn Sam, when bred to my Mastercharge daughter, produced
champions Tex and Evita. Another son, Lou, currently has his CD and is working on his CDX |
Another of my brood
matrons is Renmac’s April of Nordlicht (Ch.
Survival’s Eclipse X Interlude of Nordlicht)
whom I also bred to Ken Delaine’s Mastercharge.
From a litter of 7 females, 3 have finished their championships,
including my Ch. Renmac’s Sapphire Bright.
Roma (Ch. Renmac’s
Romancing the Stone) was bred to A/Ger Victor Spencer of Sandyhill.
They produced champions Melanie and Scarlett. I currently co-own a very dark, handsome son out of
Melanie and Gringos von der Wienerau Sch III.
I consider him a working dog rather than a show dog but he is striking enough to
be both.
Sister Scarlett is the dam of a very
nice young male we call
Renmac’s Irish Rogue by Aladdin’s Steppin’ Out v Helmac.
He still has to mature somewhat.
You are more than welcome to see any of my fine four-footed friends at my Hobby Kennel in Surrey, BC. We have over an acre in the heart of Surrey and try to make sure that everyone has lots of room to run and enjoy life. I will be adding pictures of my younger dogs in the future.
